Every month, our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu San Clemente awards The Student of the Month title. This August, the recognition goes to…
Nolan Meyers, age 6, for the Little Kids Empowerment Program. Nolan has been training at San Clemente’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program for less than two months but has really stood out for his dedication and good example put forth for the other students. He pays close attention in class, is a great listener and is always ready to help his friends.
Matthew Fairon, age 10, for the BJJ Juniors Empowerment Program. Matthew has been training with us honing his martial arts skills for quite a while. We are so excited that he has earned the title of Student of the Month. He is a quiet but focused student. This month Matthew has showed outstanding dedication and commitment to the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. We are expecting great things to come from Matthew.
The How’s and Why’s of San Clemente BJJ Student Of The Month
Student of the Month Awards are based on level of performance and attitude in class. Students must have good attendance, must improve technically and above all must demonstrate a positive attitude and good behavior.
As San Clemente’s premier BJJ program for men, women and children we feel that this type of recognition is important in fostering self confidence and improving performance in our students. These young boys and girls are great examples of what it means to be a good student of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It is our hope that each and everyone of our students would display the characteristics necessary to
become a student of the month and be awarded this great honor.
