Where: Guillobel BJJ San Clemente – 146 Los Molinos, San Clemente CA 92672
Everyday when Paulo and I wake up, the first questions that come in our minds are: how do we impact positively our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu students’ lives and our San Clemente community? How can we make them live happier days through Jiu-Jitsu? Or better, how can we make it MEANINGFUL?
Everyday – I mean, every single day – we answer these questions differently. And everyday, we are getting better and better answers, that lead us to a better and better actions, systems, results, and, most important, relationships.
Guillobel Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu San Clemente is not only a regular school – because first of all it’s not only a school. The academy is a place where we meet to build our friendship. Guillobel BJJ San Clemente is a family that every one of its members CHOOSE to be in. Our mutual respect is our ties; our mutual admiration is our bond. Our mutual love is our recipe to success.
Every single one of our BJJ students make Guillobel BJJ San Clemente magical, because every single one is allowed and encouraged to bring their own qualities to work on their weaknesses. Together, we become better individuals. We taste and share glory.
P.S.: The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Excellence Journey isn’t easy, isn’t short. And that’s why Guillobel Jiu-Jitsu is selective, exclusive. We know that is not everybody who are willing to achieve greatness. Ok is enough for a lot of people – and for them, they have other options besides the tradition and high standards taught at Guillobel BJJ San Clemente. We are here for whom that seeks transformation, not convenience.
San Clemente Jiu-Jitsu brings to you one more tool to speed up your BJJ learning experience. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu San Clemente head Instructor Paulo Guillobel shares with you the 10 Most Common Mistakes that BJJ beginners make. This overview is extremely important for any BJJ martial artist, including advanced practitioners.
Jiu-Jitsu mistakes such as bad posture and not breathing properly are one this selected list. But as you will see on the video above, our San Clemente BJJ Black Belt rated as number 1 mistake the excessive use of strength when practicing our self-defense sport. Jiu-Jitsu literally means Gentle Art, and technique will always prevail muscles.
To learn the other 9 BJJ mistakes, feel free to come to our 31 days FREE try out. All you have to do is call us now to schedule your first introductory slow start pace class: 949 366-2107.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu San Clemente Head Instructor, Paulo Guillobel, did an amazing and very inspiring presentation for high school students, last Wednesday, Nov 17th. San Clemente High School teacher Judy Ray invited our local BJJ Master to share his life and professional experiences to motivate her students.
Sensei Paulo spoke for more than 1 entire hour about finding your passion and developing determination and strength to don’t quit, “When I was talking to them, I related to those teens. At a certain point in my life, I also had doubts in setting directions. I decided to graduate from the best Business University, because I knew how important it is in today’s market. But thanks to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and my BJJ instructor I made the right choice in following my passion, with the background and knowledge of a degree”.
After the conversation, our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor showed to our teens some martial arts and self-defense moves – proving that you can have fun while at work.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt for more than 14 years, Guillobel is a very successful and world recognized teacher, as well as a great competitor and a devoted Business Owner. Today, he runs our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in San Clemente, south of Orange County, and its 3 other affiliated schools in San Pedro, Paradise and Hong Kong.
Our BJJ San Clemente Academy will be open until this Wednesday. We’ll be closed for Thanksgiving Holiday from this Thursday, Nov 25th, until Sunday, Nov 28th. We still have 2 more days to train our so loved Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu before we celebrate this amazing and meaningful holiday. Hope see you on the mat!

Our Jiu-Jitsu San Clemente family will get together in a new date to be announced.
San Clemente BJJ and Sensei Paulo Guillobel are the best gifts in my life. And I realized that last Thursday, when I was surprised by an amazing party made just for me to celebrate my 30th birthday. In only one day, I believe I never received so many sincere hugs, kisses and wishes, and I was never so loved by so much incredible friends.
I started to help my husband Paulo at BJJ San Clemente Academy 2 years ago. Paulo has a passion for teaching BJJ and a strenght of character out of this world. He always dreamed and diligently worked to provide every one of his students the best BJJ experience, best training environment and the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu game. Paulo’s love for his students is simply inspiring and genuine in every single way.
Back 2 years ago, after one of his surgeries, I start to embrace his dreams. I heartbroken quitted my amazing job at ZumaPress to be closer to my husband and to see his dream in a bigger scale. At first, I couldn’t feel as he could. I tried to understand where his passion came from, but I was new and I couldn’t figure it out.
Everything changed when I start to meet every one of our students, their stories, struggles and qualities. One by one, little by little, they were naturally enchanting me. In just couple weeks I could deeply understand Paulo. We were finally aligned because I realized the most obvious fact: Paulo never had a student. He just had and have friends.
Paulo and I love you and admire you all, friends from Jiu-Jitsu San Clemente. Thank you for all the presents, surprises, wishes and thoughts. And please, always count on us. We are here for you.
