Today at our Jiu-Jitsu San Clemente school we held a Halloween Party for our students and friends from our Little Kids Empowerment Program (kids from 4 to 7). It was unbelievable fun. ALL our students – and instructors – came with the most amazing costumes. Pocarontas, Iron Man, Punk Star, Minnie Mouse, Spider Women, King Kong, Pooh Bear, and a Pirate visited us for 1 hour and a half of pure entertainment and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu lessons.
Enzo – or should I say, Harry Potter? – won our Contest for Best Costume; and ghost Christian won for the scariest one. Each winner got our Guillobel Jiu-Jitsu Hat and a board game. Besides learning about BJJ and wining prizes from the contest, our students and guests played so much with a tough pinata. It was hard to break it down, but our little ones did it!
Our BJJ head Instructor and our entire team thank you for bringing your friends and family members. We look forward to have all of them in a regular bases wearing a gi on the mat. So please remind them about our 2 weeks of FREE lessons.
Tomorrow, Thursday is the turn of our older kids (8-13 years old) from our Jiu-Jitsu Kids and Juniors Empowerment Program. Let’s have fun together!

For who doesn’t know, the Red Ribbon Parade is the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the country. For this Monday, our jiu jitsu students and instructors must wear our jiu-jitsu uniform with shoes, and must meet us up at 3:15pm to 3:45 pm at the Surfing Donuts:
220 N. El Camino Real – San Clemente, Ca 92672
The parade starts at 4 p.m. at the top of Del Mar and concludes in the parking lot of the Library/Community Center. This annual theme is “Don’t let Drugs Blur Your Vision”.
Because of the parade, we’ll not have the BJJ little kids empowerment class this Monday (regular classes for adults).

What is Red Ribbon Week?
Red Ribbon Week serves as a vehicle for communities and individuals to take a stand for the hopes and dreams of our children through a commitment to drug prevention and education and a personal commitment to live drug free lives with the ultimate goal being the creation of drug free America.
And, perhaps more importantly, Red Ribbon Week commemorates the ultimate sacrifice made by DEA Special Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, who died at the hands of drug traffikers in Mexico while fighting the battle against illegal drugs to keep our country and children safe.
