This last weekend, The Guillobel Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Academy in San Clemente achieved the unthinkable. We sent THREE of our students to two different Martial Arts tournaments, and they got FIVE GOLD MEDALS! How nice is that?!
The eleven years old, Mitch Olesinski, and the 15 years old, Luis Gonzales, went to the North American Brazilian Jiu-jitsu tournament, a tournament with more than 700 competitors, this last Saturday, August 21. Micth and Luis took gold at their Division, and Luis also won another Division. Mitch is one of the students of our Jiu-Jitsu KIDS Empowerment Program and Luis trains in the BJJ ADULT and TEENS Program. Luis has fought Three tournaments with his yellow belt, and NEVER lost one match. Mitch also has fought three tournaments as a white belt, getting TWO GOLDS and one silver
Also on Saturday, Andre Pontes competed at The Best of The West Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Grappling tournament. Andre won the GI and NO GI divisions, bringing home two gold medals. Andre had NINE submissions in TEN fights, guess by what? Triangle Choke, of course! Now, he got two victories in a row in two Major tournaments. Congratulations!
Our student performance proves that Guillobel Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is one of the Best Martial Arts academy in Orange County, that is because of you, students and your great energy and commitment.
