One martial art principle is to be adaptable to the circumstances. Guillobel Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu School in San Clemente is doing just that.

We are in the middle of a world Pandemic that no one has experienced in our lifetime. A good number of people are getting sick and dying, businesses closing, and people are being ordered to stay at home and away from others. Only the government declared essential businesses are allowed to be opened.

But the fact is, staying at home all the time is boring and unhealthy. People need to exercise and do exciting activities every day, even socialize with other people. But how, if you can’t get out of your home?

Guillobel Jiu-jitsu found one way to provide martial art lessons and a great workout to our community. It is through live-streaming classes using the Zoom App.

We are offering live-streaming classes every day to all age groups. Our instructors are teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and fitness lessons to young and older kids, women, and men.

By using Zoom live streaming, we are still able to have a personal approach with our students, where we can talk to them and correct their moves when they need it.

Parents are loving the fact that their kids can still train martial arts and do something positive and fun while they are forced to stay at home.

And adults of our community have the opportunity to stay in shape and learn self-defense skills in the convenience of their own homes.

“We’ve been enjoying the daily Zoom classes so much, so thank you for providing that during this time!”

– Katie Polivka

“Hello, thank you for being creative and finding a way to provide value in this crazy time.”

– April Sanchez

All of our students are getting access to our live online classes as part of their membership, but we are also giving free access every Thursday to some of our classes to anyone in our San Clemente community interested in learning and working out with us.

Adults don’t need a partner to participate because our Thursday’s classes are all about working out Ginastica Natural style.

And non-students from 4 to 7 years old can attend our Little Ninjas classes, but they need to have their parents as training partners.

If You Want to Join our Classes Just Send an Email to bjj@guillobel.com with your name and age, and we’ll put you on our list for the next class available.
