Last year, our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy had a booth at the 2009 San Clemente Seafest in partnership with our dear jiu-jitsu student Roberto Diaz. It was unbelievable how many complements we heard from Roberto’s secret panamanian clam chowder recipe. It was so tasteful that as I’m writing now, I get watery mouth.

Unfortunately, this year we didn’t find the time (to be more precise almost 2 days) to cook this delicious chowder. Roberto, a successful writer, and his wonderful yogini wife Marla just had a blessed child; and we are extremely excited for the Jiu-Jitsu Pro Gear Open on Oct 24th.

But, as you will see on the video above, Guillobel Jiu-Jitsu is community oriented. Somehow, while part of our team was training at the BJJ Competition Team that sunday, the other part of our family found time to support the event. And I guest, they got the best part: taste delicious claw shoulder at the most beautiful place in San Clemente. Next year, let’s do it all together.
