San Clemente Jiu Jitsu embraces Character Counts! Our Guillobel Team was presented at the Character Counts annual event on 2009 and 2010, held at Vista Del Mar Middle School in San Clemente. Last year our brazilian jiu-jitsu students did an amazing demonstration and it was featured on the Orange County Register website.

This year of 2010, instead of a demonstration, we were at the event bringing awareness in how to build kids confidence and in how to prevent bullies. Unfortunately our team couldn’t make a demonstration because they were at the BJJ Nationals Championship (when, by the way, everyone of our competitors brought a medal home).

In every class of our Jiu-Jitsu Little Kids, Kids and Juniors Empowerment programs, our professors reinforce the Character Counts’ 6 pillars of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. Guillobel BJJ Academy is very proud to do so. Because as their mentor, it’s our duty to teach them values that last forever.
