‘The jury trial began today for a former San Clemente pastor who is facing multiple charges of molestation of a 14-year-old female parishioner. Ricardo Maffey, a one-time minister with the Apostolic Christian Church, is on trial for five counts of lewd acts upon a child between the ages of 14 and 15 and one count of luring a child with intent to commit a sexual offense… Maffey, of Santa Ana, was originally charged in November 2008. He faces up to six years in prison if convicted.
